Hollywood – Die Warner-Tochter New Line wechselt mit sofortiger Wirkung in den USA auf das Blu-ray-Format. Warner selbst wird noch bis Ende Mai seine Filme parallel auf Blu-ray und HD DVD herausbringen.
Für Deutschland hat diese Entscheidung keine Auswirkungen, da es hierzulande noch keinen Titel des Studios auf einem der DVD-Nachfolgestandards gibt. New Line hat Filme wie „Pans Labyrinth“, „Rush Hour 3“ und „Hairspray“ im Katalog. [lf]
